Assisted Living & Memory Care doctors and nurses set in a hospital

Is it safe to send a patient to your Assisted Living facility versus a Nursing Home?

Each time we receive an inquiry one of our Licensed Administrators will conduct an on-site evaluation on the potential resident to determine whether we are capable of fulfilling their needs. We will not admit a resident unless we are fully confident that we can properly take care of them. We will also offer reasonable alternatives if we determine we are unable to safely admit them. Because of our thorough process, small size and hands on approach readmission to the hospital seldom occurs.

Will you return calls and are you able to admit residents outside of business hours?

Yes! Our administrator’s will promptly return your call. Each of our locations is available 24/7 and will admit a resident 365 days out of the year.

How large are your facilities?

Our locations typically house 16 residents. We recognize that moving from one’s home to an Assisted Living facility can create some hesitation. This is why we have smaller facilities that look and feel like a home. In addition, our Memory Care homes are secured while maintaining a home-like environment.

Is there enough staff to care for your residents?

Because our locations are smaller in size, we actually have more staff per resident than the typical industry standard skilled nursing facility.

Do you accept respite and day care?

Yes! In fact, our first day of respite and day care are free. Thereafter it is only $12/hr. for day care for both Assisted Living and Memory Care. We have no minimum time requirement. This includes a full activity program, meals, medication management, and supervision.

Are you able to care for someone until the end of life?

Does The Cottages provide Outpatient Therapy?
