We are proud to announce that Mark Maxfield, President/CEO of The Cottages Assisted Living, and Kathleen Little, Director of Operations, have been elected to board positions of the Idaho Health Care Association (IHCA)! They were voted in by members of the association at the General Membership Meeting held at the IHCA Annual Convention.
Mark was elected President and is the first president from an Assisted Living location. He will serve a 2 year term as president and will then serve on the board as Past President. The duties involve directing the mission and emphasis of the association and working closely with the Executive Director of IHCA, Robert Vander Merwe.
Kathleen was elected the Assisted Living Representative to IHCA. The position is a 1 year term. Her duties as the AL Representative include attending Board meetings, actively communicating the needs of Assisted Living to the board, and interacting with the legislature to reflect the needs of Idaho’s seniors.
