The Cottages is proud to announce that Karen Mendoza has recently moved to be the Administrator of The Cottages at Lochsa Falls campus. Karen started out working with The Cottages as a caregiver and quickly advanced to leadership positions. She has worked with The Cottages for 9 years. While working at The Cottages, she obtained her Idaho State Administrator’s license and became the Administrator at The Cottages of Emmett. The Cottages of Emmett consisted of an Assisted Living Home and Memory Care home.
A Leader In Memory Care
It didn’t take long for people to notice that Karen has a special ability to connect with the residents that reside in the Memory Care. Her kind, patient, and attentive nature are precisely what the residents, their family members, and her team members need. Karen dedicates a substantial amount of time to teach her team members strategies and techniques that will help them care for individuals that are living with Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. She has over a decade of experience working in Memory Care and has fine-tuned her abilities and day-to-day interactions in the Memory Care homes. This skillset and natural talent will add so much to The Cottages at Lochsa Falls campus, which currently consists of two Memory Care homes.

Consider The Cottages Senior Living
The Cottages Senior Living will provide the best environment for your loved one. The small, home-like atmosphere and high staff-to-resident ratio helps ensure that the residents are well cared for and their needs are addressed.
