The Cottages is proud to announce that Jamie Wilson, who was formerly the Chief Administrative Officer, has been promoted to the President of The Cottages Assisted Living and Memory Care. Mark Maxfield, CEO of The Cottages, recently offered the position to her and she gladly accepted.
Jamie’s Career Journey at The Cottages
Approximately 12 years ago, Jamie interviewed for an office manager and assistant to the CEO position. She quickly learned this job, excelled at it, and was ready to take on more responsibilities and help the organization.
Jamie joined the executive team as the Chief Administrative Officer. In this position, she made great strides in advancing the organization to success. This was especially evident during the pandemic when she created and implemented vital processes and procedures that ensured the homes were safe, secure, inviting, and the residents and team members were well taken care of.
As President, Jamie is responsible for running all facets of the business. She has a track record of helping to lead organizations by identifying strategies, techniques and tactics to increase customer satisfaction, improve employee retention, increase ROI and much more. After attending BSU, Jamie held several management positions for sales, consulting, and receivable management. She has more than 15 years of administrative operations experience such as strategic planning, communication management, financial planning, analysis and more.
Jamie understands the intricacies of The Cottages and the Senior Living industry. She is knowledgeable, hard-working, and has the heart and compassion of a caregiver. She is an elder advocate and consistently lives The Cottages mission statement, “We Treat People Right.”
When asked how she feels about accepting this position she said, “I am honored and extremely excited. I love The Cottages and everything that the organization stands for. I know we are going to do great things. I am truly excited.”
